@lookatmyopinion Yea I can see that. Justin definitely came out hot and I think that definitely threw off Ilia's rhythm using the MMA tactics. But to me more than anything Ilia's boxing fundamentals or lack thereof got exposed, and he's not as calculated under stress.

@lookatmyopinion Simply put, Justin outboxed him. Ilia has GLARING fundamental boxing deficiencies. Not being able to defend the jab or 1-2 is amateurish, and I understand he wasn't moving his head as much as usual expecting the kicks but for fucks sake you can't just stand straight up like that

@lookatmyopinion I'll have to rewatch the fight but the MMA tactics Justin had was the fake shot to the uppercut and a variety of kicks. But these didn't even contribute the most to Gaethje success, it was Justin's 1-2, lateral movement, while also baiting to catch him coming in.
