Bill Belichick and the North Carolina coaching staff raved about Thurman in fall camp, and he did not disappoint in his first game of the season and seems poised to be a significant part of the passing game moving forward.

🎯 JAYDEN MAIAVA, USC VS SAN JOSE ST (DK: $9.0K | FD: $11.8K | O/U: 60.5 | IMPLIED: 49.5)

“Jayden Maiava is coming off a career season in which he threw for 3,711 yards and 24 touchdowns, and another big year could push him up NFL Draft boards. He leads the slate with a 26.1-point projection, while USC’s 49.5-point implied total is also the highest on the slate. San Jose State ranks last among the 14 defenses in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, giving Maiava an excellent matchup. The concern is his $9,000 salary combined with significant blowout potential, which could limit his fourth-quarter opportunities. Still, USC’s massive scoring expectation and the matchup give Maiava one of the strongest projections on the slate.”
