@DegenApeDev@Diggin4Truth26 Yes you can rent a room for $500/month. In most cities it's located in a rough part of town and you absolutely wouldn't want to even consider raising a family there, having friends over or trying to start a relationship to eventually lead to a family.
@hardyrenos No I don't because it shouldn't even be a question. There's Canada. There's Europe. There's a legitimate ocean between the two. That ocean says, never the two should join!
@Martyupnorth Here's 5 really great reasons to join!
1) Carney's stock portfolio
2) Carney's net worth
3) Carney's desire to be even more European
4) The left's head exploding when they realise that Europe is the home of the Colonialists
5) There is no legitimate good reason
@MrJoKeR604 You sure about that because the terms of the new associate membership haven't been set out. It could just be a simple handshake and some trade stuff or it could be everything the "allergic to good news" people are warning about.
@ggrmcd@Wumuz I'll expand on that list. Facebook/Instagram, X, Bluesky, Ford, GM, Chrysler (Stilantis), headquarters or North American headquarters for most brands you use on the daily.
@thetacticalfox@TWilsonOttawa But let's not forget everyone's situation is different. Maybe they needed the money for food? Everyone has their reasons. Personally I'll just hang on to mine until the SCC ruling and then decide where to go from there.
@thetacticalfox@TWilsonOttawa Maybe they had a decent reason. Met a guy at the range that turned in his broken AR and got more than what he paid for it originally (or so he says). There are also people who could use the money, getting out of shooting, etc. Ideally no on hands anything in.
@Mikeggibbs I agree and disagree with this. For some it was a great chance to bolster marks for post secondary. For others it was a total waste. With the elimination it at least gives the chance for some to take a year and think about where they're going to go in life.
@kim_gaetz Yet they also mentioned the fact inflation is now at 3% and rate hikes are likely going forward. So the forgotten mortgage crisis is going to get worse, insolvency will continue to climb and then take on the impacts of tariffs and this country is going to be in trouble.
