At least Muslims openly argue about the leadership of the Muslim community. We debate whether the Sultan of Sokoto should be seen as the leader or not. But can the average Christian even name the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria without searching online?
The group is so dormant in public discourse that many ordinary Christians do not even know who their leaders are.
You are privileged enough to undermine America, but the dirt and underdevelopment I see here is the average highbrow Nigerian life. That's Lekki or Maitama. The drug addicts? At least they can afford. In Abuja, where I grew up, they'd unalive you and still not get that high!
Why do Nigerians think abroad is heaven?
Being born and raised in the US, than traveling to Nigeria, gives me a greater perspective on how delusional Nigerians are.
When I go back home for vacation and business, my family think America is heaven.
They be like "everything in America is clean and works"
In my mind, I'm like, not the same "US where the subway is dirty and piss be on the trains." LOL
In Africa we have a alot of delusional people, but Nigeria leads the way.
In America politicians are just as corrupt, people still struggle, poverty is just as visible and people still complain about lack of governance.
Whether its in Oakland, Nevada or New York, your problems in Nigeria is not different than the problems in America.
Next people will say "but the government helps the poor".
Do they though?
Go ask Americans about Healthcare cost, living cost(i.e light, food)..ect
And the social saftey programs they do get, is not enough to live on. And it only keeps people in poverty.
Nigerians will remain delusional. No place on earth is perfect and is like heaven.
@AlFarsi1201@SamanthaTaghoy Accountability is a thing. The West is taking accountability. Your people are yet to see anything wrong in everything that's bad
@TheHarrisSultan@mhdksafa These terrorists won't agree with you. You are spot on when you said if they had the power. I'm from a place called Southern Kaduna in Nigeria. Since I was born, I've seen every form of terror from those guys. The only thing that keeps us alive is our ability to fight back
After today’s event regarding the Tax Reforms Committee’s Content Creators’ list, where 20 influencers were selected nationwide as ambassadors of the reforms without adequate representation from the North, and a few others and I, after some reflections, have agreed, in collaboration with one of the most reputable universities in the North, to establish an Arewa Digital Academy.
The Academy will train, guide and propel our talented young people to become the face and future of content creation in our region. Our goal is to produce creators who will represent us, influence conversations and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the biggest names anywhere in the country.
Those interested in joining us as stakeholders should reach out, but note that the slots are limited. In the coming days, we will hold a preliminary meeting with selected interested individuals, then release full details, including program outline, criteria and the location of the Academy.
The North will speak. And this time, it will speak with powerful digital voices.
