@WesleyLHuff Why would academia opt for a term that doesn’t encompass all of Israel/Hebrews and only describes one tribe if it was to represent the entire Old Testament? That’s only if that was the true reason. Christians should know that the entirety of the scriptures belong to them anyway.

@treblewoe It’s funny when a Lutheran doesn’t understand Baptist church structure. A Baptist church’s structure is a plurality of elders and a voting congregation to finalize. Meaning the congregation votes on excommunication. It’s not the sole discretion of the leadership. Matt 18:15-17.
