In two days, we've seen two of the most influential people in crypto endorse the advancement of Bitcoin in different ways.

Michael Saylor, arguably one of the most influential Bitcoiners of the past four years and considered a prophet by many, is launching a decentralized identity protocol using 'a similar (but slightly modified) approach to inscriptions as Ordinals.' He's introducing this through MicroStrategy, which, as we all know—but it might be good to remember—is a publicly traded company watched closely by all of Wall Street in relation to Bitcoin matters.

Yat Siu, through Animoca Brands, is endorsing Runes and launching a Rune token ($BLIF) with the intent to 'become the largest Web3 ecosystem of gaming, entertainment, DeFi, education, and culture, built on Bitcoin.'

Without going too deeply into this, I can summarize by saying that our niche will continue to grow as many more flock to Ordinals and Runes, recognizing that this advancement of Bitcoin is directly beneficial to the network. Maybe you don’t care what these people have to say, but I can assure you that thousands do care. Particularly regarding Saylor and Bitcoin, this will be seen as a strong signal to explore Ordinals and, by extension, Runes.

The holders of the trillion-dollar blockchain are turning their eyes to our nascent little niche with tokens that combined do not reach a 1B market cap and with collections that are worth a fraction of last cycle’s top.
