On 18 July 1994, a suicide bomber detonated a large truck bomb at the AMIA Jewish community centre in Argentina, killing 85 people and injuring 150. The head of Hizbollah's Islamic Jihad Organization claimed responsibility within 24 hours of the attack.

In 2005, four British Islamist suicide bombers attacked London’s transport system during morning rush hour, detonating explosives in three underground stations and a double-decker bus. We remember the 52 individuals who lost their lives and hundreds who were injured.
