@ekb_junior I think the best way is to organize and go to assemblies and hold them accountable, when you decide to self fund govt work, it makes them less inclined to do their work bc the public is doing it. And organizing is free, whereas bins are not.
@serbeh_anthony@OzilsMateV12@tv3_ghana This is awesome, thanks brother, we’re trying to organize a town hall with the community people about the road and the dust it creates. It’s getting many people sick, we hope some media houses can join us for this discussion
@ekb_junior They have a budget for this, so you should go to each one. It’s best to hold the assemblies responsible to do the work they’re designed to do, not the public
@The1957News@The1957News we need your help in covering the poor roads in denkyemousu, Kumasi, we will be having a town hall at the end of this month. We’d love to have you join us in the discussion. Let’s get in touch
@OzilsMateV12@tv3_ghana Are they the ones responsible for the road? I’ve spoken to both the MP and the MCE for Kwadaso about a partially completed road the contractor never finished. But they’ve told me I need to speak to the regional minister. So who is really in charge?
@koboateng I think it would be difficult to end galamsey, but they can deter the use of mercury and chemicals. Fine those who use it aggressively and give harsher jail sentences. Why can’t they try that?
@KofiEducation Why does it cost $2 mill? Where did you get that number? Why can’t the government subsidize builders who focus on student housing so costs are less and in theory prices for the hostels reduce? There are ton of educated ppl sitting in govt. I don’t understand why nothing works
@realShakirIsHaq Thank you so much sir for tackling this issue. I hope you and the rent control commissioner can begin fining buildings that don’t comply with the laws.
@CampusHypeCrew@realShakirIsHaq Let them continue this exercise. The overcharging for the accommodations is enough. Show ride the manager is being. They should fine buildings that don’t comply.
