आज सोशल मीडिया में एक व्यक्ति द्वारा कई बार मतदान करने का वीडियो प्रसारित हुआ है। उपरोक्त घटना के संबंध में निम्नलिखित कार्रवाई की जा चुकी है:
1. इस घटना की FIR नायागांव पुलिस स्टेशन, एटा जिले में IPC की धारा 171-F और 419 और RP अधिनियम 951 की धारा 128, 132 और 136 के तहत दर्ज की गई है। वीडियो में कई बार मतदान करते दिखाई देने वाले व्यक्ति की पहचान राजन सिंह पुत्र अनिल सिंह, गांव खिरिया पमरान के निवासी के रूप में हुई है और पुलिस द्वारा उसे गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है।
2. मतदान दल के सभी सदस्यों को निलंबित करने और अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई शुरू करने के निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं।
3. संबंधित मतदान केंद्र में पुनर्मतदान की सिफारिश ECI को की गई है।
4. यूपी के शेष चरणों में सभी जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारियों को मतदाताओं की पहचान की प्रक्रिया का कठोरता से पालन करने के लिए सख्त निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं।
