I am delighted to share that our work on "Geometric Catalyst Utilization in Zero-gap CO2 Electrolyzers" is finally out in @ACSEnergyLett ! I would like to thank
@TomBurdyny for fun discussions and for the constant support throughout this project.

Been wanting to get into CO2-electrolysis? @TomBurdyny’s lab has your back! 🙌🏻
In our latest @ACSEnergyLett Viewpoint we detail our setup and guide you through al steps for assembly and operation of lab-scale CO2 electrolyzers.
Thank you, @KamatlabND!

Excited to announce that our group received an ERC Starting Grant for CO2 electrolysis! The grant wouldn't have been possible without the great ideas and discussions of present and past group members.
RECALLCO2 will bring 3 funded PhD positions to the group in the coming year.

@DrThomasMoore Thanks for the reply. Carbonate precipitation may still hamper the stability especially if longer running hours are targeted. Nevertheless, good to see these comparisons which provides clearly the trade offs associated in these systems. Congrats again on this nice work!
📰Two months ago @MaryamAbdinejad headed to MIT, but her @ChemeTUDelft research is still coming! Her latest is out in Advanced Energy Materials and investigates high surface area MXene aerogel catalysts for CO2 conversion to formate. Very exciting!

Greetings of the National Science Day. CV Raman on this day in 1928 announced the discovery of a new type of radiation (now known as Raman scattering). The paper communicated to @Nature was rejected by the referees but accepted by the Editor, published on 31st March, 1928
It was great working with @rollmale for the past 1.5 years, who as a Postdoc played a major role in helping me and other PhDs in our lab. Will miss those fun scientific and non-scientific discussions but wish him a great success in his new role at @UniMelb !
Perspective article discusses the mechanisms for salt formation, and recently reported strategies for preventing or reversing salt formation in zero-gap CO2 reduction membrane electrode assemblies

Props to @marksassypants for the second work in his PhD program which provides a unified discussion on preventing salt precipitation in the CO2 reduction field. Great co-authors in Maria Kelly and @siddharth1292
