In reality most companies operate at a thin PAT of 6-9% .

With such PATs a few bad years will bankrupt the company !

From BESCOM,BBMP,BMTC conductors, even police SIs manning traffic are more polite than their average Chennai counterparts .

I'm trying to convey that, salaries paid in his industry seen below par, even if it is industry standard or slightly above average for his industry .

Salaries or wages should be high enough for an individual/ family to live a respectable life !
