Chatting about my great friends Jon and Pat Gresham, Sideshows, Penny Arcadia Museum and Pocklington Arts Centre on BBC Radio York this morning about 10.20 to let everyone know about this forthcoming event on 4th May. #BBCyork#pocklingtonartscentre https://t.co/tISoRJIThx
A blast from the past - Our restored Living Half Lady Show, originally created by Jon Gresham was featured for a season in 2014 at Davenport's Magic Kingdom, sadly now closed. This is a still from the programme Salvage Hunters on the Quest Channel with Roy Davenport.
Back on the road with our new show! It's great that we are able to bring a live theatre experience to many of our regular friends. The Great Mysto & Company have arrived with their travelling show. Brilliant magic, wacky juggling and lots of fun. All designed with Covid in mind.
At night the Fair comes to life with lights. Today's Hull Fair show row photograph is from 1960. The show on the left is Jon Gresham's Miranda - The Girl Entombed in Two Tons of Water. It's next to The Space Aces Globe of Death. Further down the row is The Living Pixie.
This week should be Hull Fair. I'm posting a photo every day to remember the excitement of the live shows. Some never before published. Today's is from 1960 - Jon Gresham's The Girl in the Goldfish Bowl. Next to Jimmy Corrigan's Helter Skelter and Howard's Temple of Black Magic.

@Winsford_Steve@ScienceMagician @OutdoorArtsUK Ha ha! Thanks Steve. We have had a great time but not with shows of course. But we are all ready to leap into action in 2021!
We all need some wonder in our lives! - The Sideshows are featured in Dr Matt Pritchard's latest interview. https://t.co/WrTd0oFAqi @ScienceMagician @outdoorartsuk
