All of these theatre chains has some sort of membership system that is like 19$ so like within 2 movies you’ve already payed it off and most the time when you see a movie it’s a 50 cent convenience fee or if it’s like opening weekend 6$ as opposed to 20$ it’s not inaccessible
movie tickets are expensive how are y'all affording to watch movies like 10 times in theatres and also having the time to do that with the job that's presumably paying for it
I also truly think this is why I don’t like the Qs being public because I don’t think everyone should be entitled to know what you’re filming cause if they don’t get it that’s all people are thinking about despite other decisions being made.
Now I do agree that there’s a lot of specifically young white male directors getting the golden ticket of trust in a way no one else ever will
The closest maybe being a young g white woman (who most likely has to come from nepotism)
And THATS where a lot of my hype dies.
I think it’s interesting this is like an own? Vs the fact that A24 seems to be back on the train of constantly greenlighting interesting and theatre seat filling content and that’s arguably a win on both films parts…
