Especially at the lowest of levels, where players must learn how to crawl before walking before running.

One thing I’ve learned is that some PTSD symptoms can involve the nervous system getting stuck in a heightened “threat response” mode after injury/stress. That can affect things like the limbic system and the autonomic nervous system (vagus nerve).
@DrJoeMachnik Sat through a licensing session with a top official from USSF - they cited specific video examples of what constitutes a “support” arm and in every example the arm was already braced/connected to the ground when ball made contact. This is a handball.

@HiMyNameIsSeton Perhaps you need to evaluate what’s going on at the club and reevaluate if it is a good fit for your player. Those are prime years for growth.
