Learning to surf,,, I was a great swimmer, anyways I paddle out past the breakers So I could ride a 10 foot wave. 2 PJ's (para rescue airmen) watched over me . Getting out there wasn't easy, Ho I forgot to tell you, a tropical storm was heading in , So all the wave coming in were braking , nothing to ride but white water! I have to come in because the storm was close! SO I decided to try it, the wave 10 foot, close out as soon as I stood on the board, I ended up being dragged on the bottom, I had a bungee cord attached to my ankle. I wouldn't be here now, but my angel was watching over me, the cord snapped! I was able to swim out of it. A kid for Missouri thinks he going to surf a 10 foot wave! Naaaaaaaa! LoL
