We had so much fun at Camp Read-A-Lot today! We had one final push towards our AR and reading goals for the year! We completed the day with a nature walk and s’mores!
We had such a fun week researching zoo animals for our Informational Writing unit! Each one selected a different animal, used Epic to research, and spent several days writing and illustrating! Today we celebrated the completion of our class book by making masks of their animals!
I may have finished my degree over the summer, but last night I got to graduate with my M.Ed and deliver the ceremony’s closing prayer. Milligan prepared me well and I’m thankful for all my time there. (Also thankful I got to do it with one of the best teacher partners out there)
I once said I want my life to be beautiful chaos.Beautiful chaos is a chaos full of whirlwind moments, exciting experiences, and overwhelming joy. It’s what makes life beautiful. Sometimes in teaching you get just that. Here’s to starting the week in 1st and ending it in Kinder!!
Today marked the last day of my first year of teaching. I spent time at two amazing schools, said goodbye to 3 different groups of students, and had ~105 students call me their teacher this year. I can’t wait to see what next year holds and continue teaching with passion and joy.
