So I got a card in the mail yesterday and noticed it was sent from Ohio. I thought “maybe grandparents in Ohio visiting cousin!” Opened it, and it was signed “meemaw and papa.” Cool, case closed! Nope.
Texted my grandma to say thanks and she’s all “yeah that wasn’t us lol.” So I look back at who the card was addressed to. It was not me. The last name looks SO close but it was not meant for me. Here’s to a (hopefully) hilarious convo with my neighbor!
@coopsiepoo We’re good, it wasn’t too much money. Plus I’m gonna try and cut a deal with them to not raise my rent on my next least, so I wanna stay in good standings 😬
The answers probably yes, but someone tell me if it’s legal for my landlord to 1) realize they made a mistake and forgot something on my bill (for the entirety of my lease so far), and 2) tack it on and tell me it’s due in TWO days.
Wholesome of Cox and the kind kid. Also gonna use this to say, please propose an increase in minimum and tipped wages in Utah. $7.25/$2.13 is insulting and service industry folks (and everyone) deserve more, especially in this unpredictable economic climate.
I will keep adding onto this until the bare minimum is accomplished. It’s been 19 days since the day I SHOULD have been paid for 16 hours and I was only paid for 5.25. 🙃 @BWWings whatcha gonna do if not be a reliable source of income for your employees?
my brother didn’t know Ritt Momney covered put your records on and claims to have never heard the original and it’s the most gen-z thing I’ve ever heard him say
