The argument against is not one of the intended implementation - but of the deterrent being equal to the risk or threat taken/experienced by people wishing to migrate to the UK.

Flawed as it was - from a low level perspective in that it could be blocked by the judiciary.

People will be better supported, in a general sense, but will also have less money and therefore decision making ability and opportunity.

I think there a serious argument to consider.

The will to ‘do’ unfortunately costs money. The ‘support’ costs promises - which cost money.

It really no different to the conservatives. Other than less people believe/trust the conservatives.

Making smoking socially unacceptable has been a long term goal - not to protect people, but to balance the impact of cost on the country.

What I do not agree with is how this is presented by the government.

@Sacha_Lord I don’t agree with the reasoning behind ‘children present’. While I understand the sentiment, but the logic I feel is flawed.

I also don’t believe that this would be the end of pubs. The reason for decline is not as simple as presented in most cases.
