We talk about "risk" in binaries.
A condom can break, birth control can fail, anyone can be pressured into sex. Despite that, and our enduring lack of sex ed, pregnancy is framed as a consequence of "risky" behavior for women.
It's the opposite for men; safety is made out to be a "buzzkill". But underneath the surface is the fear that it's embarrassing to talk about your sexual well-being.
