The Day After Tomorrow (2004) is one of those movies that shouldn’t work… and somehow always does. The science is wild, the disasters are huge, and every time it’s on, it’s hard not to get pulled in. Total guilty pleasure.
“30 is so old.” you’ve only been here for three decades. in two of them, you couldn’t drink, rent a car, or even be fully responsible for yourself. please wake up. you are a FRESH flower in the garden of life
The problem with dating apps (and honestly social media at this point) is that they give us this illusion of endless choice. Didn’t work out with this person? Oh well. On to the next, and on to the next, and on to the next. “Dating” has never been easier, but really it’s never been harder because if we can’t find “exactly what we’re looking for” in one person, we simply discard them and move on to the next. In no way am I suggesting settling, but perhaps we be more intentional with dating. Stop placing people in boxes who “check all the boxes.” People were not made for boxes. We’re multi dimensional multi faceted human beings. Souls disguised as bodies. Dating has been diluted to the point of one person becoming indistinguishable from the next. Take your time with people. Chemistry is easily manipulated. Connection is not.
