To any upcoming law school grads: not only is this advice not some closely held pearl of wisdom (it’s what all law students hear), it’s also bad on the merits. You don’t need to waste one of your last chances at having fun/getting laid on editing an article no one will ever read.

The incredibly wealthy love to do this weird "I don't actually have any liquid cash" thing as if that's how wealth works. Money is a thing normal people like you and me and worry about. Rich people have *assets* and debt. They live off loans leveraged against what they own.
This is exactly why billionaires can’t exist. This man is burning the entire world down because he cannot accept his daughter for who she is. And he has the money to actually do it. No one can have that power.
Corporation: "We made $4B but spent $3.9B so we only owe taxes on $100M."
Government: "Totally reasonable."
You: "I made $60K but spent $58K on survival."
Government: "You owe taxes on $60K."
You: "That's not—"
Government: "File by May 15."
