March is National Social Work Month, and Gov. @KatieHobbs is the first social worker ever elected governor in U.S. history!
Thanks to that experience, Gov. Hobbs knows how important advocacy and service are, and she’ll always put Arizona families first.
🕊️ It's Peace Corps Week!
For 65 years, Americans have left home to live and work in communities around the world. Close to 250,000 have served.
They have taught in rural classrooms. 📘Supported health outreach. ❤️Worked alongside farmers and small business owners. 🌾Sat at kitchen tables learning new languages late into the night. 🗣️
The Peace Corps has changed since 1961, but the mission has not. This week, we’re kicking off our 65th year with a nod to those committed to the idea that peace can be built through service, partnership, and shared understanding.
If you are a Returned Volunteer, you are part of this history. If you are considering Peace Corps service, this is your time. https://t.co/ewNvZ6ufjY

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and former colleague Colleen Hanabusa. The first woman to lead either chamber of Hawaii’s state legislature, Colleen was a fierce advocate who had strong beliefs and fought for them with conviction.
I had the privilege of working with Colleen in Congress, where together we worked to continue strengthening the trust relationship between the federal government and the Native Hawaiian community.
I’m grateful to have known Colleen and to have worked alongside her, and I’m sending my aloha to her husband John, her family, and all who loved her.
Today I ordered the US and state flag to be flown at half-staff in honor of former U.S. Representative and Hawaiʻi Senate President Colleen Hanabusa, who passed away on March 5, 2026. Flags will remain at half-staff immediately through sunrise on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Rooted in Texas. Reaching for the stars. 🤠✨
Happy Go Texan Day! This photo from 2009 captures the Cowboy Parade making its way through NASA Johnson Space Center — a classic Texas tradition set against the backdrop of human spaceflight. Covered wagons and a horse aren’t our usual visitors, but moments like this remind us how special our home in Houston really is.

On this day in 1803, Ohio became the 17th state of our great nation!
For more than two centuries, Ohioans have helped shape America through their leadership, innovation, and determination. From Lake Erie to the Ohio River, and all across our big cities and small towns, Ohio truly is the Heart of it All!
March 1, 1872. An act of Congress. A new idea. A place set aside for the benefit and enjoyment of the people. 154 years later — still wild. Still inspiring. Still Yellowstone.
When women work in government, things get done.
Proud to have an administration filled with talented, strategic women who win for DC every day.
