"Veía a mis amigos morir y seguía pensando: 'Quiero vivir tanto, quiero volver a casa', por suerte, sobreviví al tratamiento y pude continuar con mi vida, pero reintegrarme con mis amigos no fué fácil..." 🤍
There’s something about his music that feels so authentic, so him. There are very few artists who feel this authentic to what they’re doing. Again, FLEX him properly. Y’all are stanning one of the greatest artists in the industry.
c’est pour ça qu’on vous dit d’arrêter de bully les gens, surtout quand vous ne savez pas ce qu’ils ont vécu!! « t’es trop awkward, trop timide, trop réservé » voilà mtn fermez-la 🙏🏻

This somehow answers all those questions I never really needed answers to, but still found myself thinking about sometimes. The way Heeseung treats people with so much respect, how he values connections, how careful he is not to overstep other people’s boundaries, how he knows how to comfort those around him, and how he handles criticism… even the sacrifices he’s made along the way and the way he never takes anything for granted. Knowing how aware he is that time is limited makes all of it make so much more sense now.
Looking back, so many little things about him suddenly feel clearer. It makes me understand him on a much deeper level and appreciate the kind of person he is even more.
@AboutMusicYT He has already experienced what it feels like to have limited time. Anybody who hate on him for his decision should be ashamed, you guys have no right to judge someone who doesn't want to stuck at the same place for years with no progress
We truly never know everything when it comes to idols :(
It look Heeseung years to finally be able to say this. He’s the most precious person ever I really hope he stays healthy and happy for the rest of his life 🤍
Evan talks about being diagnosed with cancer when he was younger:
"The treatment process wasn’t easy, but when I saw how my mom took care of me nonstop, I wanted to put on a brave face for her. When the hospital held events like talent shows for the patients, I’d play guitar and even host them.
I dreamed of being a singer ever since I was six, but to be honest, back then I didn’t really have the mental bandwidth to even think about that. I’d watch my friends pass away and kept thinking, “I want to live so badly, I want to go home.”
Thankfully I made it through treatment and got to go on with my life, but fitting back in with my friends wasn’t easy.
I had a lot less energy, and since my hair was still growing back from chemo, I got teased a lot for it. My friends would be like, “What is that, grass? You’re like a monk.” But I just took it because I wanted to fit in. Once I got to middle school, I had some good friends, but I wasn’t as outgoing as before.
I became more of an introvert. I haven’t thought about that in a long time. It hurts to bring it back up."
there’s something so heartbreaking about knowing he found comfort in music while fighting cancer as a little boy, only to grow up and use that same music to heal others. he survived, and so did the dream he held onto.
with each interview, heeseung feels more comfortable and vulnerable to share his story. and this honestly breaks my heart.
heeseung is a cancer survivor, he truly doesn’t deserve anything he was put through
💬 I can’t even imagine how difficult that must’ve been to go through at such a young age.

man yall are truly SICK in the head, just weird human beings and no, these are not troll accounts
apparently in the big year of 2026 if you say that you battled with CANCER while you were a kid and almost died means you're self pitying and promoting your music album
just nasty
the fact that gliddy story starts with “i was just an ordinary ten-year-old boy, when, without warning, an illness came over me like dark storm clouds”
now it all makes so much sense 😭
“🦌- there’s something I need to tell you after the lightstick comes out.”
Never in my life I ever thought, that he is going to say, how he survived cancer when he was so young. I'm so devastated. Heeseung, the closure I was wondering must be less painful than this. I can't 😣
