I asked Jordi Alba about the defense after 2 consecutive clean sheets. (Orlando and tonight)
Jordi says part of it is because of Drake Callender, then mentions defense not committing the errors they did in previous games, as well as the team continuing to grow. #InterMiamiCF
Honestly, don’t know what the right call is here. Tough one.
Digne kicks Lamine without the ball - foul
Lamine slams into Digne’s leg mid kick - foul
* is there a different call if Lamine makes the same contact, but with a kicking motion instead?
Never seen a yellow card given for simulation at half field. Guess there’s a first time for everything. 🤷♂️
Also why are you flopping like that so far from goal. 🤦♂️
@TheHeatCentral@RichPaul4 “We’re having fun, it’s great for the fans”
Probably the only thing that rubs me the wrong way about Bron is his main characater syndrome, aside from the fact that he only reads the first page of books.
@schadjoe Is there some strategy to this or is he just being a diva? If he wants to win another ring, have to think it’s counterintuitive holding his new team up from filling out roster as FAs come off the board.
Sad end for Colombia, thought they were the better team going into it, but just couldn’t get it going against Switzerland.
Luis Diaz didn’t show much, and James Rodriguez didn’t have enough gas in the tank.
However you may feel about this result and FIFA’s blatant interference, one thing that remains true is that Messi is still the best in the World.
What an incredible player. Leads all goals scorers with 8 so far in the tournament.
@andreslopez3493 It was minimal contact, shouldn’t have been called a foul. Would never have been called a foul for any other team. You may disagree with me, but many other’s including journalists agree. 👍
“INTEGRITY OF THE GAME” 😂
Argentina 🇦🇷 defeat Egypt 🇪🇬 3-2 and move on to the quarterfinals. Feel sorry for the Pharaohs, they played an excellent game, but it was always an uphill battle when you’re up against FIFA and their darlings.
Two minimal contacts in Argentina’s defensive third, before going on the counterattack and scoring on Egypt.
Either contact would have been used to dissallow an Egypt goal should the roles be reversed.
