aang’s favorite hat - the one we all thought was from katara - was actually confirmed to be made by sokka in the novel. it’s a southern water tribe style hat and sokka wanted to honor aang’s air nomad roots so he lined it with momo’s shedded fur from katara��s apartment 🥹
