Mission accomplished!! Completed the Tokyo Marathon better than expected!! As promised, I carried IRyS Happi the whole way and even had a last spurt sprint finish to the finishing line while Carbonated Love was playing on my Shokz. Failed to rendezvous with my cousin to get YabaIRyS to carry to the end though..
One of the most fun events I've ever done, the logistical and on course support has been fantastic, and the crowds cheers was so energising to keep me going.
My playlist of Hololive (mostly IRyS) and Umamusume was also a huge driving force keeping me going even at times when I felt like walking. Also the fact that I didn't want to let my oshi down by not finishing kept me going strong to the end.
To be honest, this run was meant as a tribute to IRyS and also all the Hololive family, as without them, life would just seem a lot less happy? Not just for me, but I believe many other fans are also driven to do things they never thought before just to make their oshis proud. Just want to spread the love and let everyone know of the girls even if my effort may be small and insignificant. Did get some cheers from a couple of Holofans on the route too, so I guess that's something? Do hope that people see, gets curious and check up Hololive, and fall into the rabbit hole too!! *Evil grin*
Well, time to rest up, recover (legs destroyed), and prepare for next weekend!! Time to do the cheering for the girls instead!! See you at Stage 1 & 3!!

As much as I would love to go HoloFes again next year, but will skip it and support online instead🥲
Next year I'm going to be spending more time on trips with family & friends instead. Too many things had happened the past year, and time waits for no one. Enjoy in my place!!🥺

I think everyone has experienced a time in their life when they felt like they were suffering more than they could bear.
But everyone's pain is different. It's not something we can compare, and the meaning of happiness, or what it means to be saved, is different for each person.
To me, the stories Jun Maeda has created through Key have always been about those different lives, allowing us to understand, empathize with, and sometimes even experience someone else's struggles as if they were our own.
His characters carry their own loneliness, regrets, losses, and realities they cannot change.
They meet people, form bonds, experience happiness and heartbreak, and struggle to find their own way forward. Sometimes they lose something precious, and sometimes they face circumstances that seem impossible to overcome.
But through those experiences, they discover what truly matters to them, what happiness means to them, and what they want to protect.
These aren't simply stories about overcoming hardship and finding a happy ending.
They're stories about people doing their best to live through their own struggles, holding on to the people and moments that matter to them, and finding their way toward their own answers.
And what makes these stories so special to me is that we don't just watch their lives unfold from the outside.
We spend time with them. We share their happiness, feel their pain, and experience their journeys alongside them.
Somewhere along the way, their struggles and feelings begin to overlap with our own memories, our own pain, and the things we've held close to our hearts.
And when they finally find happiness or a sense of peace, somehow, a part of us feels saved, too.
I was one of the people who discovered his works during the most painful time of my life, and was saved by them.
And I don't mean that as an exaggeration.
His stories quite literally saved my life.
They made me feel that maybe, just maybe, I wanted to keep living a little longer.
I don't know if wishing for another miracle is the right thing to do now.
But as one of the many people whose lives have been touched by his stories, I can't help but hope that, this time, a miracle might find its way to him, too

IRyS' first ever "ENcore" and "Sha nai na" dates all the way back to August 15th 2021, JUST after she opened her memberships
For every karaoke since, this has been "our thing"
So for those who didn't know why we did "ENcore" for her sololive, I hope this context helps 🙇

20 years... Since Honey & Clover came out in 2006, I've always wanted to stay at Tokyu Bay Hotel and see the view of Cosmo 21 which Yamada & Nomiya had that night. Finally able to afford it, and been watching it for over 3hrs.. Another bucket list fulfilled 😭
Many more to go...
Last night in JP and it's back to reality tmr. If only I could just turn time back to yesterday to experience the best live ever once more..
Had lots of quiet time to reflect today, and time is really passing us by fast. Gotta live and enjoy each moment!
2nd Sololive when?🤣🙏
I thought of the title first, then planned around that. I’m not good at this genre, so some ideas may not have been conveyed well enough in this illustration medium.
But it’s important to me, so i wanna share my thought process!
