Perwaiz Khattak, Usman Buzdar, Mahmood Khan, Ali Amin Gandupur, that's consistently a very poor record of selecting someone for highest & most powerful post of a province, at some point Imran Khan has to take the blame for poor selection
Exclusive: Pakistan Sees One of the Sharpest Drops Default Risk - Only Country with Consistent Improvement
As per the latest data posted by Bloomberg, Pakistan stands out globally as the 2nd most improved economy in terms of reduction in sovereign default risk, as measured by CDS-implied default probability globally.
- Pakistan stood 2nd only to Turkey in Global Emerging Market (EM) Rankings in Default Risk Reduction, as the country has recorded one of the sharpest drops in sovereign default risk globally over the last 15 months (since Jun-24 till Sep-25).
- Notably, Pakistan is the only country in the EM sample showing consistent quarterly improvement across the past year.
- Default probability down by a massive 2,200 basis points.
- This marks the sharpest decline among major EMs, ahead of South Africa (3%), EI Salvador (2%).
- In contrast, countries like Argentina, Egypt, Nigeria, and others, have seen their default risks rise.
This sharp decline in country’s risk signals strengthening investor confidence, underpinned by:
- Macroeconomic stabilization
- Structural reforms
- Timely debt servicing
- Staying the course with the IMF program
- Positive ratings actions from S&P, Fitch, and Moody’s
Message to investors: Pakistan is steadily rebuilding market credibility, standing out as one of the most improved sovereign credit stories in the emerging market universe.

A staggering $11 billion gap in trade data over two fiscal years isn’t a rounding error — it erodes confidence in our economic reporting.
If the omission was inadvertent, the govt shud have disclosed it voluntarily.
Disclosure made under IMF pressure deepens — not repairs — the trust deficit.

Twenty years ago, as grad students at Columbia, we watched her and The David Project, a hyper-aggressive group of Israel fanatics, wage smear campaigns against any faculty (at least any Arab faculty) who criticized Israel. On campus people called them The Goliath Project.
No. It's not. I have friends in P&G and one of those reasons is roughly 45% corporate tax plus unable to take their profits out of Pakistan. The juice, they say, it's worth the squeeze in Pakistan.
Even local textiles like Gul Ahmed & Artistic Milliner are now investing outside Pakistan. Unless, you're a hardened PMLN supporter, I don't understand how exactly one would suggest that Pakistan is on the right path.
Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited (GATM), one of Pakistan’s leading textile companies, has announced the closure of its export apparel business due to continuous losses.
Procter & Gamble's exit - another red flag for investment climate
Procter & Gamble’s decision to leave Pakistan underscores a deeper truth: doing business here has become increasingly unviable — not just for multinationals, but for investors of all kinds.
When global giants pack up, it signals that our policy unpredictability, currency risks, and regulatory chaos have outweighed market potential.
This isn’t about one company — it’s about the growing perception that Pakistan punishes investment instead of protecting it.
If we want growth, jobs, and exports, we must stop driving capital away.
Predictable policy, drastic reduction in tax rates, and investor trust aren’t luxuries — they’re survival tools.
P&G’s exit is a warning. The question is: will we treat it as one?

If he stays in the team after this it's because he has political backing nothing else, how is the coach telling you what to do TWICE and you ignore him and lose the game
