King Edward Medical University was visited by a foreign delegate comprising dignitaries from various universities.

KEMCISION-SIG KEMU was happy to represent itself as a pioneer of promulgating surgery as a career option among the undergraduates while (1/2)

3. Number of women in surgery is seemingly less that might be due to societal structure and problems and has nothing to do with gender disparity.

KEMCISION-SIG KEMU arranged an open discussion session with Dr. Faisal Aziz, MD, FACS, full-time professor of surgery at Penn State University, Pennsylvania and Dr. Umer Farooq, who is Associate Chief Medical Officer at Penn State Health, Pennsylvania. (1/4)

. The USMLE journey, especially surgery, is pretty daunting and requires sheer perseverance and resilience.
2. The elimination of scoring in Step 1 has been a detriment to the IMGs and the focus has been shifted to Step 2 scores, which the IMGs must remain conscious of. (3/4)

Ohio graced the event with his presence and addressed the students on the prospects of vascular surgery.
Students from 4th and final year MBBS as well as PGRs from East Surgical Ward attended the event quite enthusiastically while having a great learning experience. (2/2)
