@SecondShalire@bergerwfries@GarrettPetersen It runs locally on the player’s own hardware. No internet required. The tradeoff is that the model is small; I’m compensating by steering it with game state and rules
@bergerwfries@GarrettPetersen Striving so that NPCs can react to player text input, but still be grounded in game reality (witnessed events and memories). Long term, I want the NPCs to build long term memory and reference the player's words and actions across past runs.
@GarrettPetersen I use local LLM-driven NPCs for judgement, memory, and dialogue, which I disclose. It's baked into the game's identity.
There's no AI art, but I'm probably going to be lumped into the Gen AI discourse anyways.
Opus 5.5 made this short motion graphics video pitching my game’s hook and fantasy.
False Flame: a single-player deception game where the more someone trusts you, the more stabbing them in the back and the betrayal is worth.
@RisingSunInt_ yea it's pretty bad. It's ok at code review, and sometimes catches things Codex misses and agrees with, but I don't trust it with feature work. Gets gapped by Opus and Astra currently
