@DeadLights27@conlin_lauren So? All the trials i have watched (which are a lot) just had them refer to their notes if they did not recall. This stuff here today was bizarre. No physician has time to study for a pop quiz on the stand. That you or anyone thinks they should is equally bizarre.
@LawyerYouKnow I do not care for either attorney. Not CW and not the Defense. Felt a bit like a pissing contest trying to get witnesses to testify specific ways, while both attorneys testifying from the podium. Wild!
@DeadLights27@conlin_lauren He could have offered her notes to her as he had them right there. Is he going through this trial on memory or using notes?
@latimer_ronnie@Lillyin_London Agreed. I do not like him. Currently watching him asking the forensic psych about her medical records saying she was PPS, then asks about PPD, and the Dr corrects him and says it was PP anxiety that she saw in the medical records. Surprised he didn’t get snippy with her.
@BrotherCounsel I agree with Mark that the jury will look to who is more credible, has sympathy, and they can trust.
So far it is neither side for me. Defense is theatrical, over dramatic and contradicts their facts at times.
Prosecution is flat, void of any emotion, and at times, unclear.
@PSNewYorker@Ppaulfid@TheDejaKing It is still early in the trial, although you’d think that would have been said in opening statements if they had proof of that. They are in Massachusetts and they are different up there in the court tho.
Chances are if people watching are asking these ? So are the jurors.
@dogmamacita414@Lillyin_London@jkr0llins Guess we will find out when medical testifies. So far, yes in nov (defense asking PC) no in jan (CW asking PC although CW did do a follow up and ask if she ever said she wanted to kill her kids and he said no).
@Ppaulfid@TheDejaKing I agree. Something is off about the ex.
He didn’t seem to know much and didn’t seem to be very involved or want to be involved in her care. (According to testimony so far).
Who goes on a work trip when wife says she has thoughts of hurting the kids?!
@MaryC0816@Lillyin_London This had crossed my mind. Why bring kids down to basement? Why was the one kid in the ex’s office away from the other 2? Why say she wanted to harm her kids in nov (same month he went on work trip), but deny it in jan?
Am curious to hear medical people testify.
@JennyM29308864@NateNewsNow She didn’t go to the womens health in RI until dec 20. The page in journal dates were before that and listed seraquel and valium as what she was taken and slept well.
@JennyM29308864@NateNewsNow You guessed wrong!
Defense ‘ lets say mid dec what observations if any heading up towards xmas did you guys endure?’
PC ‘ she seemed to get worse seroquel was increased to 400 mg the idea behind that is it would help her sleep, but she didn’t get better. She got worse. ‘
@laurrrrenb@LawyerYouKnow That isn’t what defense wants apparently, but there are cracks already in their story. Claims of insomnia yet her journal page states ‘slept well’ after each day.
@AmyCaron37637@factsdontlie10 Didn’t the ex testify she did not say she wanted to harm her children?
Andrea Yates had miles long history of actually trying to end herself and not just once but multiple times. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia
Her case is nothing like this one here at all!
