URGENT PLEASE RETWEET TO HELP FIND A RESCUE SHELTER SPACE FOR TUX, HUSKY DUE TO BE KILLED IN A COUNCIL POUND ON 11 OCT 2026. THE COUNCIL WILL NOT ALLOW THE PUBLIC TO ADOPT, PLEASE SHARE SO THAT A RESCUE WITH SPACE SEES THIS #UK
If you are a rescue that can help please contact Sharon Chadwick, in Death Row Dogs or The Animal Advocate, Gill Atmeare, Deborah Shepherd or Aimiee Findlay links below on facebook ASAP.
Pledges of money will go to any rescue that agrees to save him and will only be taken once he is saved. Donations would be used for transport etc.
'Oh my goodness how does a 10 year old boy like our Tux end up in the pound!? He is chipped so we know his dob and we thought surely someone must be looking for him but sadly there has been no claimant come forward. He is a bit anxious in the pound but shows no hostility at all. He ignored the big barky GSDs going into the pound and seems to take little notice of other dogs. The pound says he's not in bad shape but he needs a groom, and he's quiet for a husky! We are unable to get videos.
🆘 TUX NEEDS URGENT PLEDGES TO HELP SAVE HIM‼️
PLEDGES. £0.00
Pledges will be paid to JACOB'S POUND DOGS UK ( FUND RAISING) and used for transport and any other needs to get Tux to a safe rescue
🆘 PLEASE NOTE - NEW PAYPAL ACCOUNT FOR JACOBS POUND DOGS UK BELOW‼️
PAYPAL. [email protected]
https://t.co/8cgYdo36kt
Please do not send payments until he is marked safe and then use TUX as your reference. I will also message everyone with the payment details
🆘 ONLY USE THE PAYMENT DETAILS ABOVE AND DO NOT PAY ANYONE ELSE
All dogs must pass a temperament test before being released for rehoming via rescue. This means they will have shown no human or dog directed aggression or have given the kennel staff any cause for concern over their temperament.
Our dogs need rescue spaces for rehoming via rescue, they are not for private rehoming directly from the pound. They are available via JACOB'S POUND DOGS UK. CONTACT ON FACEBOOK 👇👇👇👇👇👇https://t.co/DUD0D01D9d
Please contact The Animal Advocate, Gill Atmeare, Deborah Shepherd or Aimiee Findlay if you can help

🚨SPIDEY SCHEDULED FOR EUTHANASIA 10/10 @ 11AM FOR MEDICAL🚨
PLEASE SHARE EVERYWHERE!🙏
Spidey is only 3 years old, & this sweet Doodle boy needs someone willing to take on his medical care before his deadline arrives.
He came into the shelter with significant regenerative anemia. On 10/4, his HCT was only 20.4%, his hemoglobin was 5.9, & his RBC count was 4.18. He also had a fever, mild dehydration, & a Grade III/VI systolic heart murmur.
But there is some good news. 🙏
Spidey was rechecked on 10/6, & his bloodwork is moving in the right direction. His HCT has improved to 25.7%, hemoglobin is now 7.6, & his RBC count increased to 5.19. The leukocytosis that was present on his earlier bloodwork has also resolved, & he is eating well. His 4DX testing was negative for heartworm & tickborne disease.
He is currently being treated with Doxycycline & needs continued veterinary monitoring, follow-up bloodwork, & appropriate treatment to determine what is causing his anemia and make sure he continues improving.
❤️Then there’s Spidey himself.
He is a calm, timid boy who tends to keep to himself in the shelter. On 10/6, he was treat motivated, tolerated being petted, & even wagged his tail after returning to his kennel. He only walked a few steps out of his kennel, but he was gentle & cooperative.❤️
Spidey has already shown that his body can respond to treatment. He just needs someone to keep giving him that.🙏❤️
He needs a stable place where he can rest, receive the veterinary care he needs, & be closely monitored as he continues recovering. Please help find the person who will see this sweet boy as more than a medical case & give him the chance to heal🙏❤️
Spidey #A1300617
• Male (DAS will fix), 3 years, 42 lbs
• 4DX negative (heartworm & tickborne)

They're Destroying poor
HONEY BUTTER BISCUIT‼️

So few realize how TRAUMATIZING Extreme LONELINESS can be.

That's what I see here.
The TRAUMA of LONELINESS. 💦

2️⃣ yo HONEY BUTTER BISCUIT #A390296 has been ISOLATED so long--sequestered away with only his Kennel Mate, that he's TREMBLING & AFRAID ‼️

It's 💔 to watch.

His natural need for Companionship has been DENIED for so long that he's losing TRUST.

The Shelter Worker tries to Comfort him, but poor HBB doesn't know her intentions. 😢

His experience at #CorpusChristiACS has GRAVELY INJURED him.

We MUST get him out of there‼️

Please Pledge, Foster, or Adopt BEFORE they destroy this BEAUTIFUL, KIND, GENTLE Soul

🥺HAMMY NEEDS A CHANCE — PLEASE DON’T LET HER BE OVERLOOKED🙏
💔My heart breaks for sweet Hammy who was owner surrendered and now just trembles in fear💔😥
She lost the only family that she ever knew😭
Hammy — #A1722898 SAN JACINTO, CA SHELTER
4-year-old Labrador Retriever
Female • Spayed
66 lbs
Owner surrender — 9/28
Kennel: A17228-98
Poor Hammy is terrified in the shelter. And honestly, who can blame her? She lost the family she knew and is now surrounded by unfamiliar people, strange smells and the constant noise of barking dogs. 💔
She is currently kenneled by herself, and when you see her in her kennel, you may think she is just a very scared dog.
📝Shelter Notes: I was able to spend some time with Hammy on Saturday, and I took the time to let her get comfortable and gain her trust. Once she was out of that kennel and realized she was safe, she completely changed.❤️
She became a sweet, loving girl who wanted nothing more than to stay close to my side and get some love and attention.❤️ She opened up, followed me around and showed me the gentle girl hiding underneath all that fear.
You could tell she was missing her family. 🥺
Hammy has also participated in playgroup and did okay. She seems non-reactive to other dogs, and she is currently enjoying being kenneled separately. She loves being outdoors, likes the water, and there is clearly so much more to this beautiful girl than what you see when she is frightened inside her kennel.
Hammy deserves a family who will give her the time to decompress, let her learn to trust again and show her that she is safe and loved.
I truly believe this girl has SO much love to give. She just needs the right person to see her. 🙏❤️
🙏Please SHARE Hammy.
🙏Tag a rescue, foster or adopter.

💔Heartbreaking picture of 8 year old Luke at San Antonio, Texas shelter💔
