Depending on the insurer you can request a reconsideration, then appeal it, then request third party arbitration if they still won't budge--but it ain't over till it's over
@vampiricjiji The "billed amount" for medical services is always stupid high because it's the "value" assigned to the service(s). Hospitals/inpatient facilities typically have to use a system where genuinely everything (from supplies/rooms/manpower/ etc) is assigned a value they have to bill--
