Just give yourself 6 to 12 months to build the foundation and this will be one of the best decisions you will be making as an investor

1. Learn the basics of financial statements. ​Get comfortable with Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
​Understand how a company actually generates revenue, manages debt, and keeps cash in the bank.

2. Read actual annual reports. ​Pick 2 or 3 companies you use every day or love, download their latest reports and read them

3. Master basic valuation, ​learn what metrics like P/E ratios, Price-to-Book, and Dividend Yield actually mean in context. ​A great business isn't a great investment if you overpay for it. Value is what you get, price is what you pay

4. Build a practice portfolio and journal everything. ​Put a small amount of money on the line enough to care, but not enough to lose sleep over.
​Write down why you bought a stock, your target entry price, and what would make you sell. Remember to track your thesis over time

When I started trading back in 2022, making $1k + from a single trade felt almost impossible.

At one point, $1k was literally a goal I would have been happy to achieve in an entire year.

Then I started seeing people make much more than that,

Instead of hating.
Instead of convincing myself it was fake.
Instead of saying “I may never get there.”

I believed it.
Quietly.

I told myself if another person could get to that level, then with enough time, work and improvement, I could get there too.

Fast forward to today, making 5 figures from a single trade is something I can comfortably do.

Now I’m looking at the next level.
