lol I don’t have time nor the desire to argue any of what your saying to be honest. In fact I feel ashamed of myself that I even allowed you to drag me into such a truly pointless discussion. All I was doing, if you look through the thread is essentially defending and giving credit to Bishop Barron, (in response to someone else’s comment) while at the same time defending Jews and pointing out an obvious fact which is that evil can infest and find a home anywhere with any people’s and any religion. Perhaps you should re-read the thread. With that, I have no more to offer on the subject.

Further, how did we even get in this topic…I was simply reacting to someone else’s comment stating that Bishop Barron should not be given the same credit for the increase in Catholic membership.

Hmmm? DNA speaking…sure I can see that. However, one might argue that once Christ declared himself to be the prophesied messiah and his apostles accepted that central tenet, that would mean that at that point they ceased being “Jewish” religiously speaking wouldn’t it? In fact I would dare to say that they were “ex-communicated” by the priests and most likely not even allowed to enter the Temple. Can’t prove this and won’t claim that it is true but it does stand to reason as much.
