@utsumushii I find it amusing that they don't give indicators like real patterns do like where the waist line is and whatnot to help visualize the direction. In game I find the top usually is facing up or to the right when you remove it from the inventory but that could just be my experience

@amribxl Tbf to her she did specify not too cute in her dialogue lol. I noticed that and then saw the category and raised an eyebrow until it showed max on another screen lol. They should have included max on all screens arguably (although I think it's just the drafting page that doesn't)

@obsidianityy People don't get how precarious FAFSA can be until they contend with it themselves. I had to fight tooth and nail to make sure they only used my mom's income. Got audited every year because of it. If my dad barely paid child support he wasn't supporting me after highschool either

@Sbartdump I've only just done the first few dresses so far, but so far I haven't had much issue staying in budget. If I really like an expensive fabric I'll just buy a meter of it and make it an accent on the dress instead of the main material. But I also sew IRL and do the same thing lol

@mela_elle0808 I know that's probably when other people did, but they started changing her dialogue a bit (at least the English translation) a little sometime in Fontaine and that was infinitely better for me immediately 😅 a lot less mean-rude if that makes sense (Sumeru was the worst example)

@icewitch_skye As my boss used to say when I worked at a theater in the costume department: "cutting corners will lead to cheap results". It's usually not outright wasted though - we often save those scraps for smaller projects or other uses.

@icewitch_skye Speaking from someone who sews, honestly wasting a bit of fabric is necessary sometimes to ensure the structural integrity and fit of the garment. Not keeping in mind the weave of the fabric when you cut out pieces can make a huge difference in the end result (cont)

I can see people failing it if they're thinking of him as a sketchy businessman and not a scam artist (wants more customers vs wants isolated fools who can't track him down)

@wonder3mporium Really depends on the region. Per official statements the water in my town should be "safe" but anyone who's worked at the old factory that's right next to the river most of the town water is sourced from adamantly say otherwise lol. So I mainly use the tap for cooking/cleaning.

@snoobertski The way the AI used in cancer research is so much different than what's used to steal art. It's not scouring the web for peoples cancer theories - you're feeding it a closed loop database of data to parse through while researchers focus on more in depth analysis.
