I lost it when the grandma from Encanto was forgiven like nothing happened after having created generational trauma for every single one of his children and grandchildren and DISOWNING HER SON for being different just to then hug him like he hadn't been living ISOLATED AND LIKE A RAT HIS WHOLE LIFE because of her.
No, everything is not magically okay with a hug. BAD thing to teach kids.

Oli Sykes says Bring Me The Horizon's "Dehumanized" grew out of the backlash over their Palestinian flag moment at Reading Festival. In a post on his Instagram, he called the warnings "career ending consequences."
System of a Down's Serj Tankian reacted to Israel's cabinet vote to recognize the Armenian Genocide, posting a video to his Instagram story on June 29, 2026.
His full statement:
"For many years, Israel's government used AIPAC to lobby the US Congress to not recognize the Armenian genocide, to prevent Congress from recognizing the Armenian genocide, due to their relationship with Turkey, their intelligence sharing with Turkey, et cetera.
Today, the Netanyahu cabinet decided to recognize the Armenian genocide of 1915 — a genocide that led Hitler thinking that he could do what he could do to the Jews in the 1930s and 1940s.
The fact that this government is already committing genocide in Gaza and Lebanon decided to recognize the genocide of my grandparents is the worst f***ing thing that they could have done to Armenians — by using our history, our genocide, our pain to their political advantage.
F*** you."
Bring Me The Horizon vocalist Oli Sykes says new song Dehumanized was born from an event that happened last year where the band waved a Palestinian flag during their performance at Reading Festival.
"I was told that peacefully raising a flạg on stage in recognition of a humanitarian catastrophe unfolding where children were being killed would most likely carry career ending consequences. It made me realize how we are silently conditioned to suppress our humanity."
