Here is a big update on our previous post. Please read.

Joseph Poliquin is alive and currently resting comfortably at home, as confirmed by his wife Brittany. He is still in a state of confusion, but he has gotten a new phone after having forgotten his passwords after his seizures caused memory impairment. According to Brittany, the plan currently is to move herself, him and their children back home to be around family. There's a long road ahead of them.

If you're not up to speed, Joseph Poliquin (who played Carl in 'FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S') suffered severe seizures that caused memory impairment and convulsions. His wife created a GoFundMe to help with medical expenses during his time in the hospital.

Hello everyone. Please stop what you're doing for a moment and read below, if you can.

Joseph Poliquin (whom you may remember as Carl in 'FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S') has suffered severe seizures and is in critical condition in the hospital. Making this even worse is that said seizures have caused extreme memory impairment due to a lack of oxygen during the seizures, causing intense brain damage; he cannot remember why he is in the hospital until being reminded continuously, he cannot remember passwords to his phone and he continually needs to be reminded that he is not currently in Louisiana. His short-term memory has been described as tragically being "essentially non-existent."

Because of this, he cannot work, his wife Brittany has been missing work to look after him, and Joseph's condition is currently critical - all after having moved not even a full 4 months ago. We need your help to aid Brittany as well as Joseph in this tragic case and help ensure a speedier recovery. They are asking for $2,400. As of this writing, $1,987 has been raised. That leaves $413 to be donated.

If you cannot donate, that's completely okay. All we are asking is for the word to be spread about this. Seizures are tragic and heartbreaking; nobody deserves to go through them. And we as a community have the opportunity to help, even if it's little by little. Brittany and Joseph do not deserve any of this. We're hoping things get better, and it's on us to help get the word out.
