GPT-6 Astra and I rebuilt the VALORANT map Ascent from scratch + included some agents with cool abilities, lineups, mollies, movement mechanics. The movement is smooth, and it's pretty much 1 to 1 after a few hours with a lot more optimizations needed in the future. Demo + link below. I was pretty impressed with Astraโs ability to capture the details of the map/agent mechanics so well, but more interestingly, it points to how easy recreating well-documented games will be in the near future. If creating games becomes cheaper and easier, we could create personalized games designed to test how someone thinks, collaborates, or approaches an unfamiliar problem.
Games are magical platforms that enable millions of people to feel immersed while offering multiple avenues to test critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. @PimDeWitte puts this really well: gaming platforms will probably be the medium for matching capable people to careers and jobs, while everything else is almost just a memorization/mechanics test. The bottleneck of actually creating stimulating games that evaluate specific criteria is quickly disappearing, and I'm sure weโre about to see an explosion of games and game-based assessments.
Incredibly grateful to share our mission with @thedailytexan! What began as an idea in mid-July has made incredible progress, with much more planned for the future. Read the full article below to learn more: https://t.co/ucgtFQzOhE
