Where’s the village for multiple birth families? There is none so we had to make our own. Other parents of multiples volunteer to drop off meals and hire out breast pumps to newer parents of multiples. Now I think it’s time the Government chipped in. https://t.co/oAD1vzc0lp
Having a baby comes with more surprises and expenses than any parent can prepare for, but for parents of twins or triplets, things get a lot more complicated, so we spoke to Taylah & Sean Glachan, who are expecting quadruplets, to see how they're preparing!
Watching @FIFAWWC and the male commentator says of @KatrinaGorry who attempted to tackle the ball that:
“motherhood has not seemed to blunten her instincts”
Would you say this about a male/dad football player? Stop 👏 stereotyping 👏 mothers

Today, @georgiedent met with Anne Aly & @silje_ac, director @MultipleBirths.
Silje and her team released a new report, “Multiples Matter: Investigating the Support Needs of Multiple Birth Families” based on research by @percapita.

Allow me to introduce @silje_ac director of @MultipleBirths Last year when her TRIPLETS were 7 months old, she imagined hosting an event at Parliament House to shine a light on the support families with multiples need. Today she did it! #MultiplesMatter
@MWhitbourn Yes exactly, lots of people/small businesses don’t take any action as they can’t afford a court order. Most ppl with defamation claims just want the ability to issue a concerns notice & have the matter resolved with an apology. Shouldn’t tech companies do more to facilitate this?
@MWhitbourn Currently, to take civil action against an anon user for defamation your only option is getting a court order (V expensive). For eg small businesses are affected by false online reviews and if the reviewer is anon, it’s very difficult to do anything. https://t.co/teVtYFccBH
@MWhitbourn You’re conflating two separate issues. The eSafety Office can take action (from Jan 2022) on seriously harmful content regarding an individual (the threshold for this is very high). Whereas, defamation deals with damage to reputation due to untruthful statements/imputations.
The impact and frequency of all forms of cyber extortion have increased in 2021 across Australia and New Zealand

"Biologically, your 20s are the best time to conceive & carry a child...but we’ve normalised a culture of women delaying childbirth until their options are more limited, difficult or non-existent."
Great piece by my friend @silje_ac in the @australian! https://t.co/kWb1kNdVm3
There are big upsides to starting a family in your 20s👶
So why does our seemingly progressive culture encourage women to delay having kids until their options are more limited, difficult or nonexistent?🧐
My views on how we need to change this culture👇
