@tandrizz Guys say this every generation. Tell me right now what message was in die lit that these rappers aren’t conveying. Also you def don’t listen to pretti if you think he has no real substance or message he’s last 2 drops had a lot to say

@daparty250 Good workflow and structure + some usage of loops + mix preset/ no mixing. And a lot of them might just be simple 4 - 8 bar loops of a beat that is repeated

What I don’t get is people not seeking out more music they like and sticking with “proven” stuff. A lot of my friends are like that. To many, music is just entertainment and background noise and that’s fine honestly.

[honeysatinn @silkkhoney]

Most people in this day and age of streaming don’t even listen to albums honestly. At this point listening to albums is a music enthusiast thing while more casual listeners use playlists.

I personally do a mix but I prefer listening to albums

@Lunch77Beatz Apparently it might’ve been sampled from this shawty redd song where the reverb tail of the snap was over the 808.

It was found by some people on YouTube a year ago.

@Lunch77Beatz Yeah i can understand that tbf.

[honeysatinn @silkkhoney]

What is lyricism even? Is it the technicals like the rhymes, metaphors, punchlines, vocabulary. Or does it include substance.

Like Lucki’s music has a lot of substance to me but a lot of his stuff isn’t really technical.

Em’s new stuff is technically cool but is about nothing
