Really enjoyed the session with @matthewsyed this morning @yarrow_hotel with the EKC Group. In my current Interim Headteacher role, this session gave me lots of food for thought - particularly the idea of moving our thoughts from a ‘know it all’ to a ‘learn it all’ culture

The thing people often don’t talk about in teaching is how much of it is a performance. No matter what’s going on in your life you stand up in front of those kids and perform and if you’re ill or something challenging is going on in your personal life, that’s exhausting.

Next three days will be spent lying on the sofa building the new school website, creating the private parent portal and updating the existing website. Oh and making sure all the remote learning set up is working for our closed bubble. This wasn’t in my PGCE in 2002 😀
