If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor🖤
I'm Indigenous, and trying to learn my heritage. I've had to wait until university to do this, because too many people still have negative feelings about Indigenous people. I shouldn't have to hide behind the fact that I "look white". I shouldn't be ashamed of my history.
@GOtransitBus Hello!
Do you know if there's a way to report when display screens at GO stations aren't working right?
At Bramalea GO, the boards keep cycling through busses that departed a while ago instead of displaying new information. There are also a few that simply aren't working.
Thanks!
@SpottedLaurier Depends on the proctor. Some will accept PHOTO government ID that isn't expired, ie drivers license, passport, or health card. Reach out to your prof ASAP to let them know your issue!
@NGear07@SpottedLaurier Yessss this! Choose healing over revenge. Its difficult to start therapy, but will end up MUCH better.
Sending you care- let yourself grieve, and try not to see it as a reflection of yourself 💕
#Laurier unveiled an Indigenous mural by Ojibwe artist Michael Cywink ahead of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Red and orange ribbons were tied to trees to commemorat those lost and the survivors of the residential school system.

@SpottedLaurier AI is kinda scary, tbh. Its EVERYWHERE, including places like snapchat where you can't disable it without paying. I'm concerned about privacy for personal information.
@SpottedLaurier I'm going into my 6th year in the fall, having switched programs after my second year. I take a reduced course load due to accessibility concerns. Everything happens at it's own pace!!
@SpottedLaurier While they CAN help us engage better with the content, they add extra stress and cost- especially for students with accessibility concerns, as they dont always work well with screen reader software.
Having the option is cool, but maybe avoid having it as a graded requirement?
