@TheNerdWASuit @CosmonautMarcus My only guess for why it didn't become popular in American culture in general is because it's not easily accessible. It isn't on any big streamers like HBO, Netflix, or Hulu. You'd only watch it if you were actively looking for it or had it recommended.

@TheNerdWASuit @CosmonautMarcus That's because it's a Frankenstein monster of a film with Joss scenes stitched onto Snyder scenes. You can usually tell which ones are Snyder by how weird the lighting looks because they artificially brightened it in post. As someone who can't stand Snyder or Whedon it was a mess

@TheNerdWASuit @CosmonautMarcus I thought GvK was a LOT better than KotM since the dialogue was nowhere near as corny and bad. I really wish they'd just get a good script writer for a monsterverse film so the humans are likeable and not annoying exposition machines.

@TheNerdWASuit @CosmonautMarcus I genuinely hated KotM mainly because of how unlikeable and bland every human was and how HORRIBLE the dialogue was. That movie had the worst dialogue in a blockbuster film in recent memory. "Oh my god--zilla!" That shit made me want to turn the movie off lmao

@TheNerdWASuit @CosmonautMarcus Kong was the only good one. The rest are SUPER boring with a few highlights. Basically the other 3 are movies you should just watch clips from on youtube. Kong is the only one I consider a genuinely good movie because it focused more on a good story than tying into a universe
