I'm sorry to point it out folks, but this little "adventure" with Iran reminds me of the joke about the argument between the brain, heart and butt-hole about who was boss of the body. In the end, it will have cost the world $trillions after all is said and done.
This was no victory for the US and Iran did not surrender. If you think this was about keeping Iran from aquiring nukes, think again. Iran just proved they don't need messy, expensive nukes. All they need do to get their way is shut the strait and Viola! the world's crap stops flowing and prices start climbing. Iran still retains 70% of it's missile and drone capabilities as well as the majority of it's fast-attack swarm water craft that always was a far greater threat than any blue-water capability they may have had. Therefore , they still have the ability to shut the strait whenever they want, treaty or no treaty.
Just in deployment of arms, material and munition losses, this cost the US alone up to $118B. In terms of business, this will have cost the US hundreds of billions in higher costs at the register and gas pump. All told, the final tally will most likely approach $1T if not more. The cost to the world will be in the $trillions.
The US did not gain anything for this cost. China is not stopped as some try to suggest and Iran has not been appreciably weakened, nor have they capitulated. In fact, the US lost $, munitions & standing on the world stage while Iran looks stronger than ever. Dealing with China on Taiwan and the South China Sea will be more difficult now.
This wasn't worth it.
@therealnick2@New12Robert@ExxAlerts I've been boarding dogs for a living for a few years now & I've learned a thing or 2 about them. My biggest problem dog ever was a little Lab/Terrier mix. He's the only dog I ever had to use a bite glove with. They're a lot like people in that they're all different.
Say you. Granted we don't know each other, what we do, have done or know, but this is what I see and based on that and what I do know to be fact, I'm convinced what I described is what's going on. The old detective's saying "Follow the money!" could not be truer.
I'm older. My life's run it's course. It was and still is, very full. So, I don't give a single fuck whether you or anyone else chooses to take me seriously or not. I just know that evil does exist for it's own sake and the old names that still control the world's money are evil. They don't give 2 shits about anything or anyone but themselves. I know a few of these people, their minions and orgs personally - some very well - having run into them in the course of my career. We mean absolutely nothing more to them than the tokenized objects they want to turn us into. I also know the political system here well enough to know it's not on the level. There's only the appearance of a competitive 2-party system. We have selections in these United States, not elections. The same people that set up and run the systems here do so throughout the Western world.
So, dismiss my opinions - or not. It makes no difference to me.
It concerns all of us living in the West because the effort to dismantle Western civilization as we've thought we've known it isn't limited to the UK or Australia or New Zealand or Canada, but includes the West in it's entirety. The same people behind the immigration replacement effort in Europe are involved in the illegal migration effort to accomplish the same goals in the US. This is a global banking controlled, techno-corporate oligarchy effort that seeks to transform Western society into an autocratic technocracy. They seek to control every aspect of our lives by digitizing/tokenizing everything so controllable value can be placed on it all including water. They seek control of the food chain by claiming the threat of climate change and that cows are a major cause of that threat. The Dutch, once known as the world's most knowledgeable farmers, are now targeted to be regulated out of business. They're no longer allowed to teach sustainable farming practices in UN programs because the WEF oligarchy want to replace family farming with just a few major conglomerate farming concerns and replace beef and proteins with infinitely controllable 3D-printed meat/fish products that can introduce whatever they desire into our food chain and into our bodies. They use the structures of the EU and the UN through the WEF to leverage government officials like Starmer or Mertz, Macron, and even people in the US like Texas Governor Greg Abbott to achieve their goals. It's a bit more of an uphill slog for them in the US because so many people here are armed and that's a potential problem for them but they're working on that as well. This concerns us all and your continued focus and attempts to paint those that disagree as hypocritical and or illogical w/o addressing the actual issues they're speaking on means yours is an effort in support of that technocratic oligarchy to discredit our doubts, doubts which are borne from what they're try to do which is becoming ever increasingly obvious.
@New12Robert@ExxAlerts It's NEVER the dog, but ALWAYS the owner. Pits, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, etc, are just dogs. They're like computers and bad AI: garbage in = garbage out. They are what they're made to be.
@brettrigby7@_InThisTogether I guess you're better at using X than I am. Good for you. Sometimes I need more room to express myself and I hate ads. Whatever your opinion of me is doesn't change what Starmer, his ilk and this rule is about or my thoughts on it.
Yes, while I'm still able and so that others might see this for the authoritarian thing it is. That is my right. And yes, the system is fucked. So, move on and try shilling for this monstrosity and globalist puppet Starmer elsewhere please. I'm not accepting it or it's premise, believe that most don't and believe I've made my point. If you don't agree, then don't. That's your right.
In general, technology - not just phones - is for all intents and purposes, indispensable now for conducting life in this society. It's become almost impossible to do anything w/o it. I pay for the blue tick so I can more fully express my thoughts. Yes, that sucks, but that doesn't mean I approve of it or of being tracked and watched or being forced to accept the govt openly having access to all. If the govt does it surreptitiously as it does already, it can be argued against. That's not true if you accept their doing so openly.
