"Unintentional human error" = not citing the translator 😶😶😶😶

[British Museum @britishmuseum]

We were recently alerted to a copyright issue linked to our exhibition about 19th-century China.

We have apologised to the translator for this unintentional human error and offered them a fee.

Why 26 Korean words have been added to Oxford English Dictionary https://t.co/QN0fKfTTzP

i’m incredibly frustrated with how this tiktok spread the false notion that Squid Game is horribly translated. that person’s complaint is COMPLETELY misdirected as it was referring to the eng CC, NOT eng sub. the subtitles are just fine, and i say this as a NATIVE korean speaker.

😂😂😂😂 But also 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦‍♀️

[Zoe Gardner @ZoeJardiniere]

Oh I cannot contain it. These make me so mad. I know it doesn't matter, only an idiot would wear shoes that say "piks" in Greek letters and think it said Nike and I shouldn't care what shoes idiots wear but my GOD IT MAKES ME SO MAD. THERE'S 11 MILLION GREEK PEOPLE. ASK ONE.

This was so satisfying to watch 🤩 https://t.co/X6wybN45G2

'Greenglish'?? This is the first time I hear this. Isn't the right term 'Greeklish'? In any case, what the article describes doesn't surprise me. It has been happening for a while and it isn't something that happens only in Greece. As the world changes languages evolve with it.

[The Guardian @guardian]

The Greeks had a word for it … until now, as language is deluged by English terms https://t.co/EFxh5cARlN

If there's one thing I know for sure in this life and can recognise instantly is Morten Harket's voice. That's him as Viking in #MaskedSingerUK. You're welcome.😎😏 @aha_com

Sending love to everyone ♥️

[John Cena @JohnCena]

We all cope with tragedy in different ways. There is never a good time to experience loss and we can not know what anyone else is feeling or going thru. In a year of so much hardship, let’s all try to give extra empathy to those around us.

[Clare Mackintosh @claremackint0sh]

My son died fourteen years ago today. If you’re struggling with the loss of a loved one, I have some promises for you.

[Simu Liu @SimuLiu]

2020 is the worst. It just is.
So if you’re reading this, let’s just agree that we won’t add to the heaping pile of s**t that this year has been. Let’s just not. Be kind to the people who look and think different, and love each other.

That’s all.
