Don't you think they would plaster every roof in the country with solar if this would fix the issues and everyone would have cheap energy? Except they haven't, so can't be that much of a big deal, and besides they also want to block our sun out 😂 Nuclear brings other problems with waste and lead times for the things to be built etc. Every other prosperous country in the world is still drilling for oil and gas. Starmer and Labour are in over drive decimating the country NOW! It's the hard working people being squeezed more and more to keep paying for everything while Starmer just wants to look good in front of his EU counter parts. If he was running a business instead of a country it would have folded a long time ago! Between Starmers ego and net zero we are dead in the water, national debt goes up, taxes go up, because apparently the way out of this mess is to tax people more!? It's clearly insane or just doing what he's been told to do. Everyone is at breaking point. Things were bad before he got in, but things are alot worse now! Instead of giving 210 million pounds to Ukraine yesterday, if he had dropped it into the UK, people would actually respect that, but his own people are last on his agenda. Marie. You are clearly insane if you think everything is rosy. Cost of living is high because of the mad push for net zero. The Iran thing just made it a bit worse. No political party have done particularly well for us, but Labour are really going the extra mile. National debt is up, taxation on businesses is up, Infact, tax on everything is up. The welfare bills now outnumber the money coming in. It's not sustainable! Immigration... Let's not even go there, the constant poking of Russia, giving billions of pounds to Ukraine while our country crumbles away just so he can cuddle his faux leader mates from the EU. Taking us back into the EU, normal hardworking people here don't want any of it I'm afraid. Everyone is sick of it all. Change is coming, you know it, I know it and it will be the best thing that's happened here in years.
