Dear HM Government, (UK)
Firstly, congratulations. You’ve managed to discover a brand-new definition of transparency.
Apparently, the people who write the laws can have their criminal records kept secret from the very people expected to obey those laws. That’s an impressive piece of political gymnastics.
The rest of us apply for jobs, volunteer roles, taxi licences, security passes, and all manner of positions where background checks are considered perfectly reasonable. Yet when it comes to those entrusted with running the country… suddenly privacy becomes the highest constitutional principle.
Forgive us if we’re a little confused.
If a criminal record is irrelevant to holding public office, then explain why. If it is relevant, then surely voters deserve to know before they hand over power at the ballot box.
Democracy relies on informed consent. It’s difficult to make an informed choice if important information about elected representatives is deliberately withheld.
This isn’t about conducting witch hunts or judging people for minor mistakes made decades ago. It’s about accountability. Those who expect the public’s trust should be prepared to earn it through openness, not secrecy.
Unlike the government’s pursuit of Veterans 🤔
So, a simple question:
Why should MPs and ministers be held to a lower standard of transparency than many ordinary citizens applying for everyday jobs?
After all, “nothing to hide” seems to apply enthusiastically to taxpayers, but rather less enthusiastically to taxpayers’ employees.
Is transparency now something that’s only expected of the governed, while the governors are exempt?
Abit like the COVID vaccine 🤔 there is a pattern,
Perhaps we’ve misunderstood how equality works. We foolishly assumed the same standards applied to everyone. It would appear they do… right up until someone becomes an MP.
The British public doesn’t expect perfection.
We do, however, expect honesty, accountability, and the same standards from those who make our laws as they expect from those who obey them.
Yours, slightly bewildered,
A Taxpayer 🇬🇧
🚨🚨NETHERLANDS 🇳🇱 HAS AWAKENED 💥
Massive protests against mass illegal immigration in the Netherlands, overwhelming the police forces.
The crowds are enormous, people demanding their country back 🔥
You won't see it in the media so the FLAME doesn't spread.... 🔥SHARE everywhere 👇
50,000 Men in one tiny corner of the World don’t all just wake up simultaneously & decide to leave their family, home & country forever.
Nope - so the question is:-
Who organised it?
Who funded it?
Who instigated and directed it?
Who’s managing it now?
Where are these 50,000 Men all sleeping, what are they eating & drinking? Will they all be given Phones again?
Something is seriously wrong with all this.

To all the Supermarkets and big commercial stores that operate 'Self Check-outs'....... You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now. Yesterday I went shopping at one such store and the lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone.
I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already filled my trolly, emptied my trolly and scanned the items, refilled my trolly and so I just skipped the exit line and left.
I heard her saying "Umm - Excuse me “ as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store.
You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.
• I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you.
• If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine.
• Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities.
YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING.
YOU DON’T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNT FOR WORKING FOR YOU.
Signed ......All of us
People we need to share this statement its basically about PROFIT to the stores AND putting People out of a JOB....!!!
I took a break from X for several days. I discovered that the outside world knows nothing about what's actually going on. It's pretty astonishing actually — mainstream news is just a homogenized, sanitized, and corporatized information desert.
Boom! 💥
This guy is spot on 🎯 about what Muslims are doing here in America! 🇺🇸
It’s not to assimilate… it’s to change our country to their culture! 👊🏻
Deport them all! 😠
Apple switched off the best camera settings on your iPhone. On purpose.
You paid $1,200 for a camera you've never actually used. Six settings are off by default, and they're the ones that make photos look dramatically better.
Fix these 6:👇
@andyburnham Great … open pubs n clubs, but we’ve no money to spend at them 🤷♂️. Cut migration, lower the welfare spend, stop the overseas aid ! Look after the indigenous people of England.
🚨What kind of a government does this to its own people?
Labour's new India trade deal just came into effect.
Labour have snuck in a last-minute amendment granting Indian professionals FIVE YEARS of exemption from National Insurance contributions.
That means that if an Indian company wants a job doing in Britain, they will get a tax break for choosing to send an Indian employee to do it, rather than hiring someone in our country.
That creates a massive incentive to increase immigration as the number of job openings sinks to the lowest level in years.
Britain's young people, in particular, have been slapped in the face yet again: youth unemployment here has now surpassed that of Greece and is getting close to Spain’s disastrous levels.
It’s yet another example of the political class putting everyone else ahead of British citizens.
In one breath, Labour denies the existence of two-tier Britain. In the next, they introduce yet more discrimination against the people they’re supposed to represent.
How much longer are we expected to tolerate a government which spits in the face of the British people?
