@rita_rake I'm sure Cannon Clare, her clergy and volunteers will gladly accompany TIMs to the men's to ensure they are safe if they feel uncomfortable knowing other men will be using them! I expect there's fewer TIMs than women parishioners so it won't be as time consuming this way round.
@PeterTatchell Great news on gay marriage - it's almost like sexual orientation and those claiming they are the opposite sex are completely different things.
@KDc0m3h0m3@RubyMouse3 How many non trans identified men undergo penile inversion? Does the operation have complications? Will some of those complications lead to people becoming disabled? And stop continuing to police my language - you used BAME, a discredit acronym. I choose to use Black.
@KDc0m3h0m3@RubyMouse3 Elective bilateral orchiectomy and penile inversion are not surgeries men 'get all the time' unless the are TIMs. Although I believe it's only around 12% of TIMs who have the latter. And please don't please my language on racial descriptions - using BAME is lazy and inaccurate.
@KDc0m3h0m3@RubyMouse3 Having look at the studies, some of what you say is evidently true. (Not on why Black people have lower stats though). You seem to have a blinked view on the part played by taking cross sex hormones and the surgery though. Are you saying there are no issues with either?
@IonicFuser@Ethno_Nat@helenstaniland@ZackPolanski Lots of papers show babies can tell the difference. Adults do it all the time and the vast amount of time we're right - based on body shape, size, gait, voice etc. Helen has not once been mistaken for a man, so it seems disingenuous to suggest it. https://t.co/2q2auv4eOp
@KDc0m3h0m3@RubyMouse3 Why do other groups facing socio-economic issues have lower levels of disability? Why do they have connective tissue disorders? Do you not think the issues of iatrogenic harm play a part?
@GMB The majority of people, including your viewers I imagine, believe in single sex prisons, sports, hospital wards and changing rooms etc. For the dignity and privacy of both sexes and in the case of women - our safety from men who commit over 98% of sexual offences.
@owenjonesjourno No. This is from the Fire Brigades Union leadership. Not all staff in the union necessarily agree and they have not surveyed their members so your point is not based on facts. Although many are - not all fire fighters and control staff are members of the union either.
@Gaynotqueer1 They really do need to build some resilience so they can cope with the reality of what they are and how they are perceived. The person inflicting the most damage on him is himself by believing his fantasy should be a reality and everyone should affirm it.
@justcallmemaccy@jk_rowling As they used to say in the gay night clubs I worked in 'ooeer, get her' when a particularly nasty remark was made! ๐คฃNot getting much feminist sisterly feelings from these tweets of yours.
@No4167 So he now acknowledges he doesn't pass as a woman (but in his mind he did before). Yet he thinks women are now threatened by him as he looks like a pretty women? This makes no sense.
@OfSymbols@NessNag What are you seeing as rhetoric that's similar to homophobic rhetoric in what she says about male autogynephilic fetish and narcistic rage? I can't see the connection...
1/4 We had a man like this, a vicious, angry AGP, turn up at our Women's Centre demanding his right as a lesbian to join in lesbian events. When we refused he said he'd destroy us. He applied to be on the committee: women fell out, volunteers left, scared: the Centre closed.
