You may not like watching Arsenal. I may not like watching Arsenal, particularly. But it's been really striking to me how much, in public and in private, other coaches love what Mikel Arteta has built. From a coaching perspective, they're a masterpiece.

@scottjwillis This is so interesting. Having only watched the game live, the feeling I had was that Arsenal had more big chances to score than City. Eze post, Kai shot, Kai header, Gabriel post felt bigger moments than City created. Interesting to see that this was not infact the case. Thanks
@YankeeGunner An attack of Eze, Odegaard, Saka, Havertz (as Arteta knew them from last season) was a good attack. When you consider that they play in front of the best defence and midfield in the division. Fact they have been injured or out of form doesn't make it a can kicked down the road
@timstillman_ City seem to have avoided any negativity associated with crashing out of Europe at an early stage (again), and being 9 points behind Arsenal. Media and fans seem to give them a complete pass in 2024/5 and 2025/6. So odd. Now riding high despite poor results (up to now).
@timstillman_ They were looking for anything they could possibly find to disallow the goal. Honestly, if they are no longer using it to award penalties that have wrongly not been awarded then why use it to spoil and ruin goal celebrations.
@JanAageFjortoft@clivepafc It’s a very tough league. Winning Away games are hard. Winning away games 3 days after a hard fought win against a good Chelsea side is even harder. Sometimes, when going for a title you have to grit it out. 3 points are vital. You can’t always play your best.
@YankeeGunner I’m just so cross that we played a full strength team at Chelsea. We played twice (away) in the time Forest last played. Our full focus should be on the league (then champions league). We looked tired from Wednesday (understandably. The game was a battle and we needed 2 B fresher
