@vahneeluh The rare case of not going full sunk cost into a scam.
Back then it was viewed as a new thing with massive potential, then it turned out to be a temporary crutch at best and a complete trap because the unskilled can't fix it's errors, and the skilled only gets inconvenienced.
@Ryan25700722538@Yaya5678a@DownloadQueue_@GamesRadar Obvious shill account is obvious. π
Pocketpair never relented on their stance about the FACT those patents were never valid. You know, PRIOR ART.
It's Nintendo backing out having given up on trying to get an injunction of distribution, and the "damages" being pocket change now.
@cmarc057@Bucky_cm@Palworld_EN Probably there will be more buildings and new environments will look distinct like Sakurajima and Feybreak does but don't expect a complete from the ground up overhaul on things. That's only feasible for a Palworld 2.
@The__Legion_@fyrfly23@JuiceMan_V@Raythesnivy Current version of EA is:
-"Glider" Pals only change the properties of your glider equipment.
-Pals are summoned right next to you and deploying them cannot be aimed.
Pocketpair is fighting the very validity of the patents.
@The__Legion_@fyrfly23@JuiceMan_V@Raythesnivy -Pals with a "glider" partner skill would be summoned automatically and carry you.
-Pals are summoned where the ball is thrown.
These were only precautionary changes and the only changes but the case will be still ongoing either until or years beyond this November....
@gonomatry The more I look at it the more I think about the characters. I wonder if the color selection was deliberate for that.
In the PS2 era even menu assets were a serious strain on the limited memory of the disks so minimalist and ugly UI was the norm.
@RLGzv1aoJw27991 It's also a stretch Pokemon designs aren't ripoffs by the same measure.
This propaganda in the recent years trying to history revise Nintendo into being the inventor of everything ever needs to stop.
@huzzabuzatrolol@abichungus@CatalystNB -spent 30 years scraping the bottom of the barrel for anything technically not exactly like an earlier mon made by themselves already makes a really dumb expectation to see something entirely different from others especially when it's 1k+.
@huzzabuzatrolol@abichungus@CatalystNB Nothing appeals universally to everyone.
Experiencing it is different from watching but there's no free demo.
Also if you take apart the Pokemon to it's basic components you'll realize everything is built from unoriginal, generic and derivative parts and with Gamefreak having-
@Amphibian42@abichungus You know that... enjoying different genres is like... entirely subjective and different people are into different things, right?
"PROVE ME OBJECTIVELY THAT IT'S ENJOYABLE" is absolutely not how this works.
@Tyrannnomon@pumpketo When the wave of monster tamers arrive they'll start denying about this ever having happened instead just like how the "Zelda" fans dropped the whole "Genshin stole Breath of the Wild which invented open world gaming and cell shaded graphics!" after the anime games arrived.
@Ryan25700722538@MonsterEagle91 >"facts"
>"All the judges, lawyers and literal patent lawyers who looked into this because of the massive public spotlight don't know what they are talking about, trust only ME."
>[Tries to retroactively rewrite the timeline as if the lawsuit's scope was always narrowed down.]
No
@DJK1NG_Gaming@AnAverageGamerX Only one needs to blow up. The system counts the engagement of the original post so it foods the "Top" with no likes no views replies and quotes to it.
It's out of your control. It's not what you did, it's the broken system....
@thicc_stick_boi -Muting doesn't help and blocking isn't a complete solution either.
At this point I'm convinced these bait accounts know exactly what they are doing.
Thanks Elon, very cool.
@thicc_stick_boi The search system in the Top category counts the engagement of the post being replied to rather than the engagement of the reply or quote retweet to it.
A bunch of his baitposts popped off which resulted in the Palworld tag being flooded with the replies to them.-
